I'll be upset if Im right cause he is a fantastic character although a very bad man.

I think it will be Dolohov as he is Barty's newly acquired Father figure.

As that was the position Sirius was filling in Harry's life in canon.

Oops, that was me.

Ugh, I would be so sad if we lost Dolohov. He's utterly fascinating. (My gosh, him starting to question Voldemort after his death was fantastic -- and he even got BARTY to, too!)

But he's more likely than Barty, though I'd be really happy if it was Barty. (Also quite well-written, but... so much less sympathetic.)

Lets all hope it's Barty then. I'll miss his particular brand of evil, but the fallout with Narcissa would be amusing

I'd kind of love to see Draco's reaction to it too.

Draco will be so epically pissed if he's not the one who kills him.

That thread of them both being confused by how easy it was to 'kill' Voldemort was amazing. If Dolohov survives Voldemort eventually being overthrown (well, I assume V will be), and isn't immediately thrown into Azkaban, it will be fascinating to watch his thinking and dealing with the situation.

Also if he discovers who he's trying to catch at DoM right now - particularly Sally-Anne, Harry, Justin and Draco.

I was just thinking about how Dolohov would probably be able to figure out it was them. They're not fully-grown yet, are they? Well, maybe they are -- I haven't been 16 in a while, I can't remember how different teenagers really look. But Dolohov knows his students so well, their abilities and everything, and watches them so closely...

It makes me think maybe he will be the one to die then, since otherwise they'd basically all be dead, even those who are his favorites.

...or would they? Considering Dolohov just went through a moment of wavering loyalty...

Have you seen what Sally Anne said?

She thinks he knows.

Just saw it. GAH. He's got to know, he's hearing their voices while casting things, screaming... of course he knows. It's Dolohov, he's incredibly perceptive.

If Barty's the one to die... that would make Dolohov so, so dangerous.

I don't even know what to hope for anymore!

Orrrr he doesn't know. But if he survives, he'll probably figure it out.

I mean, Barty would too, if he had the opportunity. But he isn't around them as much.

I think he just got it.

What Barty would do if he figured it out scares me.

Particularly in light of Dolohov's comment and Barty's response.
