That was kind of what I was thinking earlier. This does rather sound like a rather interesting story, from the bits and pieces we're getting.

Hopefully we'll at least get to see an outline at some point. I would be shocked if the players don't have at least that, even if we probably won't be seeing it for a while.

It sounds to me like an Alternity!verse Hunger Games.

(More seriously, though, yeah, it does seem to be something like that, but it also seems very different--I can't just say 'oh, Hunger Games plot' because it kind of obviously isn't.

(Though now I'm probably going to go back over it all and look for parallels, thanks)
