I don't think they specifically mention "Dark Arts" as part of the title, do they? Fun (and ghoulish) to imagine their Defense against Muggles curriculum -- maybe it's integrated with Muggle Studies!

It sounds like a "Professor Acton" teaches Charms (http://alt-harry.livejournal.com/1197.html). She's the one who sucks up to Harry and called him Lord Marvolo. (See, you've got me doing the reading!) I don't recognize that name offhand from canon, do you?
