Late Night Ponderings

I noticed something in Padma's message to Seamus and Lavender.

When she's talking about casualties, she mentions servants. Muggleborns or muggles.

She called them Muggleborns. Not mudbloods.

Padma, are you showing signs of hope?!

A small thing, but interesting.

On another note, I can't wait to hear what happened at the wedding!

Well, if they're servants hired for the wedding, it would have been through Muggleborn Labor, since that's their official title, so I don't know that it's meaningful. It might be, though!

It may also be a religious or cultural reluctance to speak ill of the dead even if they aren't pure blood wizards.

Good points, both. I'd like to think, as annoying as Padma is, that she's still redeemable. Don't know how likely it is.
