Bella implied that she knew a way of saving V and wanted Rod's help to implement it. What was it? Did she need Rod particularly or was it just that he was the person she thought most likely to obey?

She didn't know a way to save V. She was hoping Rod might have some ideas, but he was like "LOL thanks I'll pass."

Ah, so the "We can save him" was more a "We can put our brilliant minds together and solve this problem" than an "I need you to help me implement this". Thanks!

(I'd been wondering if it was something like "I have this theory that a marital-bonded couple doing ritual magic might be able to..." for ages, which was seriously in my head when they called Hydra to Justin...)
