I know I'm asking ALL THE QUESTIONS but I have one last query- what happened to Peter Pettigrew? The last mention of him I can find in the recaps in 1 February Y7 when Sirius said he'd come to collect Peter from Harry. I think I remember him going to Saltash or something? But I can't find any mention of it.

Yes, he was imprisoned at Saltash. He was in the same "house" but in different quarters from Lucius.

We struggled and struggled with Peter and how to use him, and finally came up with a story that worked.

The thing about Peter was that he presents himself as if he had no choices, but here's a prime example of a Gryffindor who is really something of a coward. Yes, he was being coerced and threatened by Death Eaters, but in the face of that, he chose to betray rather than tell his friends he was in trouble.

However, surely there's almost no sentence worse than having to live as a rat for fifteen years! I think eventually he asks please to just be allowed to live out the rest of his life in his animal form, because it's become more comfortable for him than living with his memories. His petition is granted, and he is kept in a cage in the classroom at Alice's school.

That is... actually really heartbreaking. Poor Peter.
