Remember the scene at--I don't remember where, but Selwyn and his wife used a tracking spell to recover Arista because she was lost in a crowd. And Harry was with her. That's how Harry learned how to do it.
I think worthywords meant that the players had been planning these events for a long time. (Not the ISS - the real life, 21st century, computer using players.) So ze was admiring their detailed long-term planning.
I'm also interested to see how the Order reacts when they show up at the tea shop- once again, the kids getting it done! I mean, good on the order for securing that farm or whatever, but the ISS just went into the m-f'in Department of Mysteries and dueled with Crouch and Dolohov. Daaaaaamn!
Well, to be fair, they kind of utterly failed at dueling Crouch and Dolohov, but still. They got Arista and Hector out of there. (Hermione just posted to the Order. [rubs hands together anticipatoryly])
And yeah, his reaction to Barty saying Selwyn's kids were there was "That explains--" (and then to tell Barty not to duel anyone else).
He knows it was them. I don't know if he was sure before that, but he knows now. This should prove interesting.
I am slightly worried he managed to recognize Hermione, but she (obviously) isn't one of his students, so there's much less reason for him to. Which is good.

Yes. It will be interesting to see Dolohov (presumably) attempt to figure out what on earth led to them being in the DoM over the rest of term. In a very Slytherin-y way, too.
(While he's trying to figure out who was doing whatever it was with Arista and co. He has quite a bit of investigating to do.)
I think we'd all like to know the answer to the second one there. And it shouldn't lead him anywhere near the Order (they weren't involved at all, apparently), so I almost hope he finds out the answer to that one.
I was half expecting at least one of the ISS, if not most of the Order, if they got called in, to be captured and questioned, with no hope of escape. I mean, imagine Barty Crouch coming face to face with Hermione with a wand, or Alice Longbottom, or Sirius Black, or...
Yeah, the moment I realized what was happening-- I mean, the canon events just made things worse, but-- yeah, this could have been very very bad.
I mean, the fallout of this is going to be interesting, because, well. But this went much much better than it could have. (Huh. They mentioned Felix Felicus when Cedric was injured. Setting up for this?)
Umbridge's list of dispensible people - with Sally-Anne on it, among others - is giving me chills. I think every halfblood or muggleborn or 'dispensible' pureblood child will be better off as a result of tonight's events.
He probably obtained it to give him every smidgen of luck he could get to kill Voldemort. And to protect his family. And it DID work, he DID kill V.--but he was foiled by the horcruxes.
...huh, I don't think I've ever wished what that would likely result in on someone before.
You know, I'm kind of curious to see Doholov's reaction when he unravels this (because I'm fairly certain he will.)
Especially if Voldemort knew about it. Which... if this is connected to all the internal politics certain people have been complaining about, the players've been setting this up for a long time.
I think I have congratulate the players on multiple counts, then. And I am anticipating the fallout of this.
