I'm also interested to see how the Order reacts when they show up at the tea shop- once again, the kids getting it done! I mean, good on the order for securing that farm or whatever, but the ISS just went into the m-f'in Department of Mysteries and dueled with Crouch and Dolohov. Daaaaaamn!
And yeah, his reaction to Barty saying Selwyn's kids were there was "That explains--" (and then to tell Barty not to duel anyone else).
He knows it was them. I don't know if he was sure before that, but he knows now. This should prove interesting.
I am slightly worried he managed to recognize Hermione, but she (obviously) isn't one of his students, so there's much less reason for him to. Which is good.

Yes. It will be interesting to see Dolohov (presumably) attempt to figure out what on earth led to them being in the DoM over the rest of term. In a very Slytherin-y way, too.
(While he's trying to figure out who was doing whatever it was with Arista and co. He has quite a bit of investigating to do.)
I think we'd all like to know the answer to the second one there. And it shouldn't lead him anywhere near the Order (they weren't involved at all, apparently), so I almost hope he finds out the answer to that one.
I think he's pretty clear on why they were there - as soon as Barty mentioned Selwyn's kids he completely put it together.
He has the opportunity to know that Ron has a friendly relationship with Arista that he maintains even though people like Finnegan give him guff about it; among other things Ron used the Stories About Satsuma to give him public posts to make during Umbridge, after all. And he knows that Selwyn considered himself a protector of the Weasley family.
Knowing these things and that Ron is a Gryffindor with perpelexing friendships with an assortment of other students - some of whom he may have specifically recognised - it only will take confirming that Ron sent a PM to Arista in discussions of the wedding to lock down "Arista managed to tell Ron that she was in trouble, and the little idiot got his friends together to break her out." Without the confirmation, he will only have "I bet Arista managed to tell Ron that she was in trouble, and the little idiot got his friends together to break her out."
Well, to be fair, they kind of utterly failed at dueling Crouch and Dolohov, but still. They got Arista and Hector out of there. (Hermione just posted to the Order. [rubs hands together anticipatoryly])

Noble Arts class for fifth year students is probably going to be interesting until end of term.
