ISS Lock?

Looks like the kids are posting without the ISS lock about knowing how to apparate before this? Maybe a mistake, but both Ron and Harry have done so- are they too tired to notice? Hope it doesn't come back to hurt them once Lucius loses control of the PMs!

Yeah, that's kinda worrying me too.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. It does seem to have come to a point and gotten sorted out fairly quickly, at least, so at least it isn't going to be discovered months down the line.

I am rather intensely curious what Doholov is thinking right now, though.

I'd put odds heavily on "I wonder if I can tell who else was in that Department of Mysteries debacle by who suddenly apparates in the morning."

I was wondering when the Howler was going to turn up...

I was surprised when Ron forgot to use the lock.

I'm a lot more surprised that, by going after Ron based on a PM, the Ministry has more-or-less openly admitted that they're reading everybody's "private" messages. I thought they were trying to keep that bit secret.

It does seem unsubtle, but on the other hand I can't imagine it surprises anyone, or if it does, anyone it's likely to surprise is likely to buy an explanation of "well, they're kids, they need supervision, of course," or the like.
