Percy's dead, I think. Ginny asked everyone to come home.

On the one hand, I'm surprised he lasted this long; on the other, I'm surprised at just how little psychological terrorizing Crouch and Tosha did. I'm assuming it was them, anyway- I suppose Crispin could have, but I don't think he'd extend himself that far without backing?

The only thing that has me wondering now is whether he'll be replaced- and whether that replacement will be the next runner up in the competition, his dear little brother Ron. They did bring on four new Councilmembers when only three died at Hogwarts- Minerva, Mulciber, and Raz- but who knows, with the LP.

Ugh. I really hope you're wrong about Ron, but this version of the Wizarding World is just screwed up enough to make that sound like a good idea.

I wonder who's in shock? Molly?

Poor Percy. Not that he wasn't awful, just…no redemption, like in canon. And that makes me sad.

Yeah, it makes me sad, too; I had really hoped he'd come back to the family at the end. :(

Looks like he did come back to them, as a ghost. Their attempt/ desire to help him may have been enough to convince him he could cross over, otherwise I doubt he would have disappeared.
Unless.....

Oh crap. Please don't let him end up as an inferi. I don't think that Molly would get over that.

I'd be surprised if it was Crouch/Tosha; I mean, Tosha could have been lying about how busy he was this weekend, but didn't Mulciber arrange for this jaunt? Cleaning up loose ends?

Alternately, Crispin wanted to express his feelings on Lucius's downfall...

Good point- I forgot it was Mulciber's shindig. I wonder if he would have considered Percy incriminating enough to bother with, though. I'm sure he didn't expect Percy to last long; he may have been content to let someone else clean up after him.

I've been thinking about Crispin, and how he was showing Percy how to sneak an imperius under his arm ages ago to get better restaurant service or something....
