A thought: might Voldy have ordered the children killed because he realizes his new body is not as, ah, Gently Used, Very Good Condition as he intended? (and can we hope that Bella believes her curse unstoppable and so doesn't know a counter or even a palliative? Not that she's really the sort to palliate anyone, so to speak.)

I mean, even given ~24 hours, there's obviously still a lot of vengeful damage he can do on his way out, but I also wonder if it's occurred to him to check on his horcruxes recently. Or was the state of his new body enough to trigger his reaction, even without knowledge of the destruction of almost all of his horcruxes ...

I wonder how long it takes for Harry's mind to die/be subsumed/whatever. If it's not instantaneous, there's a slim chance he could come back, as he did in the canon. (I'm not holding my breath, mind.)

Edited to add: I wonder also how V's fractured soul might impact the taking-over bit. He may be in control now, with the initial rush, but will that last?

It looks like Bella and Tosha are stuck trying to figure this shit out, and that should keep them busy.

I wonder if Tosha will sabotage Bella's efforts to reverse her unbreakable curse. And I wonder if she'll kill him for it...
