I was about to say, oh, hell, the wards.
This is not what they need at the moment!
(I wouldn't be
surprised
if Bellatrix got killed for inventing that spell and not being able to reverse it.)
(I also wouldn't be surprised if Draco didn't get the duration quite right. Or the rite/attempts at fixing made it worse. Or something else happened)
