When I first saw that line, I was promptly earwormed with The Mr. T Experience's Sackcloth and Ashes. (YouTube, punky pop, volume warning.) Ever since, I've sung it as Dungbombs and Ashes. ;)
The one that keeps popping into my head is "It's not really a party until someone explodes the cake." (I may not have the wording precisely correct, but it's Barty.)
D made me up my swearing bar quite a lot. (I'm also rather proud of "Urania's mercy on the seven unsatisfactory suitors of the Pleiades and their worst excuses and excesses", which I think D helped me come up with.)
My favourite swear is Tosha's "Mordred's Mercy" because oh, the layers of implication there.
I don't remember the exact line, or where it was, but there was a thread between Hermione and Hydra wherein they discuss Draco's being in love with her, and Hermione can't believe it's really true. Hydra says something like, "If his mind were a house, your picture would be in almost every room." I just loved that because it says so much about all three characters. And the nature of love itself, for that matter.
"Oh, for the thousandth time, Draco, YOU did not FLY A DRAGON!"
I now have headcanon that on that first visit to Lucius and Narcissa, on the Riviera, Draco tried telling the story of How he Flew a Dragon, Hermione was half-engaged in a side conversation, heard just enough to realize Draco was telling That Story and reflexively shut him down. Conversation stopped while everyone waited for Lucius to get shirty...and he just looked at Draco and said, 'Well, she's right. Dragons do rather go where they want to go.'
While I was looking for something else just now, I found the conversation Sally-Anne and Snape had about Snape's modified post-Cruciation potion, and this line cracked me up:
It was right at the tail end of the demonstration duel between Tosha and Raz in Y5, and I thought it was just this beautiful stark reminder of what they'd be up against.

And in fact, all of Remus and Sally-Anne's minutes for their delightful sly commentary.

I'm sure it was totally OMG WHAT overwhelming and foreign sounding to someone in Hermione's position, though.

And everyone relaxed considerably thereafter.

"I was a bookish, and fairly morbid, child." (Immediately after rattling off half a dozen curses, hexes, and jinxes he'd invented.)
(And Snape's memorial to Flitwick, further down the thread!)
