Well, to be fair, it seems like he was affected too. Or at least he told Daphne about Raz and her mum, didn't he? I assumed that was because he drank whatever it was too, though I suppose he could've just been playing along.

(And now I have to admit I keep looking at Daphne's and Raz's icons to see if there's a resemblance.)
