I'm starting to wonder if Ginny will ever be inducted into the Order - or what will happen if she is - just by the presence of things like "The only difficulty is the presence of Ginny." in her own mother's Order Only entries. Everyone in the ISS had to read back and see some unflattering things said, but there's been so much that Ginny's been carefully kept out of the way for that I can't imagine her not feeling really betrayed over it. :(

I'm waiting for someone to suggest that over the Easter hols is as good a time as any to induct her, and Ginny being in would be much less dangerous for everyone, if the Order are about to be betrayed.

On the other hand, Ginny being in would be much more dangerous for everyone, if she reacts badly to discovering how much she's been kept away from and how little she's been trusted. :/

E.T.A. I agree that Ginny's likely to be unhappy about it. They've let Draco and Hydra in, but they didn't trust her? Yeah, I expect some fireworks.

Plus, if Ginny's in, and they also induct Honoria, what a coup to have the sister of Lana Sandoval on their side! Also risky, but again, Draco and Hydra.

Honoria's not even in the ISS, though. I mean, neither is Ginny, but she's the most vulnerable Weasley at the moment because she neither has inside information nor a Councilwizard patron.

I'm assuming it's almost too late to put them on the ISS lock. If I understood it right, the one remaining reason not to make Ginny an Order member is her friendship with Honoria. The presupposition is that Ginny will then want to tell Honoria about the Order, which may or may not be a good thing, but once Ginny is a member she will be able to tell them whether Honoria should.

Don't know if it's necessarily a good idea to try, but my thought is that they should at least talk about it, as the danger is growing and that is a huge loose end not to tie up.

I was actually wondering if--barring other disasters (or, well, because of them, but that's... less relevant) she's going to stumble into it at this meeting. Which... would be interesting.

(Also if she doesn't have suspicions at this point I will be very surprised)

She almost has to. Her whole family (minus Percy the Poophead) is in it.

I kind of wish Luna would just casually mention it to her, in the random way that Luna does, at the Browns.

She's also supposed to visit Charlie, so there's another opportunity.

Do we think that Ginny would be capable of turning everyone in, even if she is cheesed off that she hasn't been included until now?

I had forgotten that she was going to visit him! Conveniently, his post about having invited her is also the most recent discussion of inducting her.

I think she would be willing to believe that Molly was just being (immensely) over-protective, and that people got the wrong impression of her after how she acted with the tiara, and I don't think she'd betray the Order out of spite. I'm just concerned with how she'll take it.

I'm hoping they'll invite her, actually- not for the initial meeting, but at some point during hols. Bill just brought her up in the meeting thread, and I'm pretty sure Ron has been for letting Ginny in for a bit now.

I think--she'll probably be upset, but based on how she's talked about her experiences with the tiara, she'll get why they haven't told her.

I don't know, she might be rather more upset if it goes on too much longer anyway, though.
