Draco wonders why girls are strange, why people think he cheated, and why his parents haven't owled recently. Lucius meets with several likely donors, but some are dodging him. Percy reminds everyone about the Prefects' meeting (and that he is an arse). Penelope wants to burn her books. Fred and George proclaim their innocence regarding Percy's hex.

Hermione was threatened by Draco, who warned her to stop talking to Harry. Terry tries to make Percy feel better, but winds up verbally fencing with Lucius Malfoy instead.
12 February
Professor Macnair explains some facts about the Forbidden Forest. Ernie reports that his fellow Hufflepuffs are acting weird. Lucius reaffirms his (and everyone's) duty to monitor the journals for sedition. In response, Sirius attempts to divert him with another Grim Truth.
