Padma verifies to Seamus, via private message, that they are ready to implement a plot they have hatched. Terry copies a note he received from Dean Thomas so the ISS kids can discuss it. Professor Amycus Carrow threatens McGonagall, promises Draco he'll be changing the seating in Slytherin's classes, and informs Terry of the chores he has "saved" for him to see to.

Neville confiscates Ron's journal as a precaution when they realise he's been hexed. Pansy condemns the nature of the hex. Ron thanks his friends for sticking up for him. Madam Pomfrey passes a grueling day with a patient.
15 September
Seamus gloats privately with Padma over the fact that the Weasley twins' attempt to counter Ron's hex backfired in Transfiguration, earning Ron a detention.
16 September
Ron wants vengeance. Tonks asks Sirius to come down to New London earlier than planned. Percy makes a few announcements as Head Boy.
17 September
Ginny reaches out to Honoria Sandoval. Ron clears his conscience with his parents. Narcissa collaborates with Professor Sinistra on a new offshoot of the YPL. Lucius reports that a vote passed in France which discriminates against muggleborns.
