Barty Crouch, Jr. breaks his engagement on Voldemort's orders. Lucius registers his surprise at the decision. Nymphadora suffers a minor fall.

13 March
Blaise invites Harry and Draco to work on their Care of Magical Creatures project together. Madam Pomfrey continues to look after her underweight patient.

14 March
Padma brings Michael Corner to the hospital wing. Ginny compliments Daphne on her acting skills.

15 March
Susan wakes early on her birthday. Zacharias teases Padma about her message to Madam Pomfrey. Narcissa writes to Maebh with suggestions for overcoming the rumours about her rejection by the Lord Protector. She also responds to Barty's mother's concerns about her son. Susan thanks her brother for his birthday presents.

16 March
Luna posts some methods to cope with one's period.

17 March
Professor Carrow also threatens his students. Neville blames himself for the Gryffindor boys' predicament. Padma asks what happened. Seamus tries to get help from Percy. Ron goes to the twins instead. Penelope notifies everyone (particularly Ron) that tardiness for rehearsal may have consequences.

Dean plans for the worst in Carrow's lessons. Ginny muses about growing up.
