Remus absorbs the implications of the Death Eaters' ritual. Seamus checks in with Professor Dolohov. Neville dares to hope Seamus is out of danger. Padma expresses her relief as well. Lana Sandoval criticizes the decorations for the St Mungo's Gala. Bill believes himself recovered from observing the ritual.
30 December
Fred and George enlist Terry to give a message to Pansy. Terry agrees. Daphne arranges the revue get-together. Molly hears that the barter network is squeezing her out. Professor Sinistra asks Narcissa a series of questions about the social maneuverings at the gala. Barty Crouch accepts an offer from Dolohov. Sirius takes a shift babysitting Minerva. Linus embarks on his next research project.
31 December
Terry implores Professor McGonagall to get better. Professor McGonagall manages a brief post to assure that she is still kicking. Lucius indulges in chasing down some graffiti artists.
1 January
Sally-Anne rings in the new year by wishing Luna happy birthday. Molly invites Luna for supper. Hermione dives into a project Draco assigned her.
2 January
Professor McGonagall tries posting again. Justin reminds Hydra about setting up a trip to the Ponds' store. Professor Sinistra updates Raz on her discussion with her estranged friend. Hydra asks Dora if the group can come visit. Remus announces the Order's meeting place and time.
3 January
Draco decides to go check out Laszlo's with the others. Ron starts looking forward to the revue. Draco explains to Pansy that he found a discarded gift from Regulus in his wardrobe. Molly learns that the family are expected at 12th Night for a special presentation in Arthur's honor. Hermione schemes so that Sirius can simultaneously visit with Harry and avoid the ISS crew. Barty Crouch insists rather forcefully that 12th Night will be an event not to miss. Remus dismisses the possibility that Draco could be one of the Jr. Auxiliary. Fred and George follow Ron. Ron escapes the Burrow for the Stretton farm. Professor McGonagall conspires with Professor Dolohov to assist her in sobriety once she returns to school. Ginny breaks up with her boyfriend. Molly looks for both Ron and Bill. Ron seeks shelter for the night at Justin's. Charlie brings the Order up to speed regarding the Weasley family drama. Justin assures Molly that Ron is safe. Hermione explodes at the Order's short-sightedness. Sally-Anne informs the other ISS members of their new discoveries about the Order. Bill surfaces long enough to tell Molly he needs time.
4 January
Evelyn Longbottom offers her support to Ron. Ginny asks Professor Dolohov for mentorship. Bill apologizes to Ron. Cedric thanks the students who came to play. Bill also respects Tonks' wishes to not apologize. Rodolphus engages Hydra in a father-daughter chat. Draco pours out some self-loathing in the effort to teach himself a lesson. Hydra wants Justin to tell her about his day. Ron sees Bill's ultimatum about the Order as a lame and insincere offer.
