Linus watches the Quidditch match with newfound interest. Ernie roots for Hufflepuff. Susan prepares to approach Ernie about the Galleons. She then lets the ISS know that he is requesting Obliviation rather than join them.

17 March
Cedric accepts defeat graciously. Padma tightens security around the kitchens. Cedric objects via Galleon. Sally-Anne checks on Ginny through Ron. Madam Umbridge reiterates that rules must be followed. Susan reports the twins' success at Obliviating Ernie. Evelyn writes about the final stages of costuming for the Revue.

18 March
Lana Sandoval-Pennifold takes her sister to task for getting caught sneaking food. Molly pursues a larger house and other benefits from Repopulation, which she plans to use to benefit the Order.

19 March
Professor Sinistra remarks on the changes to the visible night sky. Ron composes another chapter in the life of Satsuma the Stuffed Cat. Percy blames Bill for not pushing Molly to leave the Burrow for more opulent housing. Madam Umbridge issues Educational Decree 25, restricting the casting of spells outside class. Harry makes up his mind. Sally-Anne reacts with shock. Pansy proposes adding Harry to the lock. Cedric suggests having parents complain to the Board. Harry recommends asking permission for casting any kind of spell at all. Terry fears the invasion of privacy if Harry can read all Hermione's private messages behind the lock. Ron implements Harry's plan by asking how to put out the torches in the Gryffindor dormitories without magic.

20 March
Professor Dolohov invites several students to meet with him during lunch. Neville asks Madam Umbridge if he can use magic for the Garden project. Sally-Anne inquires about the types of spells that count under the prohibition. Linus rescues some second-years who needed magic to move a staircase. Someone suggests that self-teaching in the library is a loophole in the policy. Someone points out that it's 'Kiss a Ginger' day. Luna destroys a classroom in her efforts to avoid using magic. Megan is confused. Evelyn attempts to quantify the circumstances and exceptions to Umbridge's rule. Sally-Anne wonders which Weasley she kissed. Bill complains about Percy to Charlie. Susan finds Spring Equinox rather agreeable. Molly turns to Selwyn to intervene with Madam Umbridge's destructive decrees. Justin thinks of other ways to get under Madam Umbridge's skin. Hermione pulls Harry aside to tell him about the lock. Director Selwyn confers with Lucius about Umbridge's illogical decisions.

21 March
Lucius warns Professors Dolohov and Lestrange that he has insisted on making a tutoring program available for OWL and NEWT students. Harry introduces himself on the ISS lock.

22 March
Ron promotes the Revue. Sally-Anne brings up Occlumency as a good protection strategy. Linus researches Madam Umbridge's portfolio. Madam Umbridge holds several students back from going to Hogsmeade. Ginny reflects on the self-destructive tendencies of the typical teenager. Susan dreams about food. Narcissa calls attention to a performer's mistake. Susan kicks off the cast party.

Uh-oh.
