Someone questions how a Zonko's boycott will make any difference. Narcissa catches up with one of the society witches after Voldemort's birthday party. She also fishes for Barty to tell her about his date of the evening. Michael remarks on the Quidditch and Luna's unusual commentating style. Harry tells Luna how amused he was as well. Susan consoles the Hufflepuff Seeker. Ron compliments Susan on the match overall. Pansy throws herself on Lucius's mercy. She also warns Fred and George that she might have to withdraw if Lucius requires it.

Sirius imagines that Tonks may be under more strain than she is admitting.
4 November
Corax Mulciber summons Bill to his office. Bill reveals that Mulciber has beneficently cleared the path for Molly's and the twins' business ventures. Charlie reports on his first baby rescue.

Ron readdresses starting up revising again via the Galleon.
6 November
Snape solicits Alice's opinion about whether the latest potion version is safe to give to Bill. Barty Crouch looks for the sources of a potential new threat. Madam Pomfrey checks in with Alice and Frank regarding feeding the camps that Mulciber is systematically starving. Harry opens discussion of what to do with revising sessions to all the ISS members in the Order. Remus confesses to Alice that he had to willingly hurt Muggles during a coerced shift with the Watch on Bonfire Night.
