Sally-Anne wishes everyone a happy new year, and Luna a happy birthday. Frank announces the results of Marston Strangeweale's trial and sentencing. Remus wants to know if Sirius will attend the hanging. Sally-Anne wonders what happened. Hermione questions whether they had a change of heart.

Justin asks Sally-Anne how her visit with her father is going. Barty Crouch enlists Professor Dolohov's help in investigating Strangeweale's disappearance. Sally-Anne assures Ron that she's safe. Padma talks to Blaise about a conversation he had with Cadmus Mulciber. Ernie checks on Megan. Harry sends a Galleon to invite people to bring books for the club. He also sums up the holiday.
