Recap for the week of 1 February, Year 6

1 February
Sally-Anne succeeds in the first official Apparation lesson. She also thanks Professor Dolohov for loaning her the books which she claimed helped her early success. Neville congratulates Sally-Anne on her impressive feat.

2 February
Lana Sandoval-Pennifold cancels her plans to go to church. Kingsley discovers what appears to be another Octoboros effect. Blaise arranges to meet Megan alone. Megan doubts his intentions are admirable. Ernie seems to suspect them, too. Ron entices Ginny to play chess with him.

3 February
Susan checks on Megan. Seamus compares the secret he collected with Padma’s. Ron loses himself in The Sword in the Stone. Sally-Anne admits to Ron and Pansy that Dean extracted her secret, and that it involved being beaten by her father over holidays. Professor Lestrange warns the NEWT students that they will be working with a live Dementor on Friday for their Patronus lesson. Linus implores Lavender to help keep the secret that he learned for his challenge.

4 February
Snape begs insight from Albus regarding the potential payoff for Draco’s risky undertaking. Ron ensures that Sally-Anne has an escort at all times. Hydra tattles on Goyle to his sponsor. Snape makes what just might be considered a joke (for Snapish values of jokes).

5 February
Pansy bets Ron she can outdo him on the next challenge. Seamus finds the task a nice change of pace. Harry calls for a practice session before Friday’s Patronus lesson. Ginny brings an injured Dean to the Hospital Wing. Ron desires the attention of his girlfriend’s healing hands. Justin uses the Galleon to warn Sophie’s Army that Teddy Nott is being a menace.

6 February
Madam Pomfrey objects to Dean checking himself out of the Hospital Wing. Harry asks for more details about Nott’s conduct. Justin provides them. Harry expresses his displeasure about Nott to Nott’s sponsor. He also encourages those students who came to practice their Patroni.

7 February
Sally-Anne monitors everyone’s status after the lesson with the Dementor. Lavender offers her support to Linus. Professor Dolohov inquires as to whether Justin’s study group is coercing him to do all the heavy lifting.

Professor Sinistra issues instructions for attending the Astronomy Guild lecture. Linus posts his ebullience about the evening.

Corax Mulciber concludes his research on starvation. Sirius arranges for the bootleg copies of the original Pure Victory manuscript to be delivered to Hogwarts for distribution.

12 February
Professor Dolohov cancels lessons in response to a surprise summons to Court. Rachel Lamont notes the highly regular data that Mulciber’s study produced. Ernie finds a bonus present from Megan--from Christmas. Cedric consults Hermione on the best approaches to make friends with his family’s muggleborn servant. Pansy provides her opinions on Fred and George’s latest innovations.

13 February
Professor McGonagall invites Professor Dolohov to take tea with her. Harry organizes a get-together in Hogsmeade. Evelyn thinks ahead about where the blame for the books might fall.

14 February
Padma wishes Blaise a Happy Valentine’s Day. Pansy rearranges her rendezvous with George. Bill reopens dialogue with Percy again.
