A thought completely out of left field

I know this is odd to mention now, with everything that's been going on in the last few days, but Sally Anne's post here http://alt-sally-anne.dreamwidth.org/154928.html made me wonder -

Do we know what happened to alt!Wormtail? Did he show up in year 3 and I just forgot?

As far as I know, we don't know. SA's rat has been Worrying Me ever since she got him, really.

Theoretically her rat was one of Carrow's experiment subjects (http://alt-sally-anne.dreamwidth.org/37499.html), but wouldn't it be interesting if Wormtail had been caught by Carrow? Hmmm. Though you'd think the experiments might have revealed an animagus...

I remember she found him after the experiment, but the timing could have been a red herring. Maybe he wasn't a Carrow rat at all but was snooping around for other purposes.

Or maybe he's just a plain old magical rat.

I think Sally- Ann describes Sebastian at some point. I want to say he is grey but that could be a product of my imagination.
Does anyone know how worm tail is described in canon? Clearly he won't have a missing toe/ claw but it might be interesting to compare.

I haven't found a physical description of Sebastian. She is sure he is magical from his behaviour and Pyewacket, Pansys kneazle apparently approves of him.
While this isn't proof he isn't Wormtail, in canon Crookshanks who is part kneazle saw through the Animagus transformation and hated him. I'd have expected a similar reaction if he was.
