They were okay with her lending it to the folks going into the Forbidden Forest, even though there was a chance that a) they might use it and then she wouldn't have it anymore or b) she might need it while they were in the Forest. So I don't think anybody's going to tell her to take it back, unless they say "look, bad things always happen at the end of term, keep it with you until school starts again in" or something.
(I'm not sure whether I expect a bunch of people to get portkeyed out during this year's End of Term Catastrophe, or whether I expect the EoTC this year to be especially nail-bitery because some of it could have been avoided with the portkey. I'm leaning towards the first, only because portkeys are tracked, so someone using "Ellie's" portkey from Hogwarts is going to draw a lot of attention, and more attention = more excitement for the players (and us readers, of course))
