I like your suggestion that it might be "Defense against Muggles" that they're teaching in this curriculum. Seems reasonable. Particularly if Draco's at all on track about what they might learn -- it would be very funny if they were taught how to sabotage Muggle items (like fellytones and plugs and toasters and teapots and Fords, you know).
