Daphne asks Rodolphus Lestrange for genetic material for testing. Bellatrix closes in on Sirius. Tonks reaches Grimmauld safely. Remus reports on himself and Sirius. Bellatrix organizes interrogation for the detainees. Barty Crouch calls the neighborhood watch in for questioning. Rachel reacts to the raid by going to Bill's. Ron wonders if the students can stand down. Harry checks on Sirius. Sirius blames himself.

Ron gossips with Harry to distract himself. Rachel gathers some intelligence regarding the raid on Laszlo's. Barty cancels his lunch plans with Narcissa. Narcissa remembers that Grimmauld Place shares a portrait with Hogwarts. Hydra takes the initiative with Crouch, admitting that she visited the Ponds frequently and wondering how she was deceived. Draco thinks about the implications of Ellie's death. Justin inquires whether Hydra has learned anything useful from Crouch.

Hydra warns the Juniors that MLE will probably want to talk to them briefly. Michael Corner worries that there will be trouble.

Justin puts all the Order's information about Voldemort's visit in one place. Sirius delivers Ellie's eulogy. Barty chats with Daphne Greengrass. He also updates Dolohov on his progress with the Inferi. He further invites Narcissa to dinner on Saturday. Alice readies the Order for the Octoboros switch.

Rookwood issues warnings thinly veiled as a pep talk. Madam Pomfrey receives Rabastan's sample for testing. She also anticipates needing extra hands in the infirmary. Tonks experiences contractions far too early. Rookwood leaves his tasks for Buckingham. Megan loses track of her cat. Linus coordinates pre- and post-Feast arrangements with Daphne. Madam Pomfrey directs Snape regarding Tonks' contractions. Penelope meets Karoline Baddock at the New London Halloween festivities. Neville describes the events of the Feast to the Order.
