22 February
Headmaster Dolohov locates a resource for Professor Sandoval-Pennifold. Alice welcomes two new Order members. She also panics when she loses track of Kevin.
23 February
Millicent confuses and distresses the school with an ominous report. A Galleoneer reacts to her claims of Hydra's murder. Padma requests cooperation from the Prefects. Someone confirms the presence of blood on the stairs. Barty summons the Headmaster to the Hospital Wing. Ron wonders if Sally-Anne's in a position to help elucidate. Daphne inquires whether her plan for damage control will suit Barty's wishes. Sally-Anne provides an update from a brief foray into the Hospital Wing. Susan goes through Pansy for potions to help calm the students. Daphne puts rumours to rest. She also reassures the Galleoneers separately. Hermione doubts Sally-Anne's explanation for Justin's presence at Hydra's bedside. Sally-Anne asks Susan whether Justin has returned to Hufflepuff. Ron offers to accompany Sally-Anne home from the Hospital Wing.

Barty checks on Hydra, but does not let up the pressure. Seamus objects to Gryffindor playing host to Justin the night before. He also polls Padma for her opinion of the excitement. Justin struggles to discuss the situation with Hydra. Pansy attempts to comfort Hydra. Justin avoids the Great Hall. Linus chastises his classmates for their reaction to a Potions accident. Sirius looks for explanatons from Justin and Hydra. Poppy probes Sally-Anne about the decision to close the ward. Sally-Anne queries Hydra concerning other people giving her a wide berth. George contacts Pansy for information and suggestions about how to help.

Hermione finds out how things are progressing at school. Tonks makes progress toward getting back in fighting trim.
26 February
Hydra tells Justin how she feels. She also seeks Barty's opinion about her similarities to Bellatrix.

Ptolemy Baddock invites Narcissa to Karoline's concert.

I'm sure Justin, at least, was not thinking clearly enough to have noticed whether he locked the thread.
I just did a brief check and I think I'm wrong; the Ministry still had access, if they bothered to look. So we just have to say they were careless and lucky.
