Jason Montague informs Rachel Brodie that Bellatrix used Rigel Lestrange to alter their witness's perception of his family's murder. Rachel ponders how to remove Rigel from his mother's custody. Seamus analyzes Terry's message to him and pieces together an important revelation. He also reports his conclusions to Bella. Bellatrix implements protocols based on Seamus's intelligence. Alice contemplates the Order's stance on forgiveness. Terry berates himself for giving Seamus the clue to discover the Order's animagi.

Sirius goes on a public relations field trip with Draco. Colin undertakes learning the Animagus transformation to be able to keep Luna company at the full moon.
