Bella was also a little softer, I think - but I'm not sure if you made a conscious choice to withdraw her humanity after the Unicorn hunt later in Y1, or whether that was a natural progression as she became more and more our primary heavy. But, for example, in this early post she's offering to have tea with Narcissa and shoot the breeze.
