I read a bit of it back in the day, though I was more of a That Was Then fan. I think that was the first RPG I read, actually. Good times.

I am aware it is a long shot, yes.

But it will be at least several years before there is any serious romantic stuff going on between kids in Harry's year, and who knows what could happen in that time. There could be chemistry there. That sort of thing is hard to predict.

But obviously the characters will go the directions that feel right to their players, and I was just expressing a mild hope, not a demand or anything.

Seriously, I remember from TIN that players can sometimes be sensitive about shipping and feel pressured and/or marginalized because of it, and I would not want to cause anybody to feel that way. It's a tricky balance when the creators also read the fan community, and if I caused anyone discomfort by using the S-word then I apologize.

This does cause some weird side-effects like me flipping out at the mention of Justin Finch-Fletchley, though.
