Percy brings Oliver Wood to the hospital wing for treatment of flu.
13 October
Arthur confirms the spread of a virulent disease in the Muggle camps, which the administration is trying to keep secret. Terry worries, under ISS lock, that Professor Carrow is plotting some type of ruination for Dean. Sally-Anne returns Ron's notes. Percy reminds everyone that curfew begins at nine. Lucius indicates that the number of requests for Muggleborn labor have increased. Pansy misses curfew and gets a detention.
14 October
Professor McGonagall quashes unfounded suppositions about the severity of the viruses circulating through Hogwarts. Dean catches the flu-bug. Sirius reaches an agreement and begins shipment of disguised Muggle-produced staple products. Ginny wonders why Ron is ignoring care packages from home. Pansy finishes her detention and sends Hermione to fetch a book she loaned Ron. In reality, Hermione went to inform Ron of a plot, which Pansy and Sally-Anne overheard, in which the Carrows plan to force Dean to give Hermione his wand, thus busting Dean back to Mudblood status and possibly causing Hermione to forfeit her life.
15 October
Professor Carrow gloats with pride in his work. Arthur arranges to meet Frank and attempt to rescue one of the Muggleborn babies. Harry hopes Hermione will not be harmed in Professor Carrow's class. Professor Carrow cancels his final lesson of the day. Neville needs a new Transfiguration textbook. Dean gives his account of what happened in class. Alice seeks more information about the altercation. Terry tries to check on Hermione, while clearly in some physical distress of his own.
16 October
Professor McGonagall shuts down further open discussion regarding the Transfiguration lesson incident. Draco presents Harry's reaction to the affair. Padma reminds everyone about History Club. Sirius alerts Poppy to Terry's tremulous post from the night before. Bill suggests that Frank and Arthur attempt to rescue the second infant from Professor McGonagall's list. Dean takes offense at the persistent rumors. Frank reports the successful extraction of one of the infants.
