Ron sends his wishes for success to the Gryffindor side, then questions the progress of the match under the ISS lock. Luna theorizes the influence of the planets on the rogue bludger. Lucius demands an investigation. Draco describes his perspective on the match and its fallout. Alice promises they are taking precautions with the ailing Muggleborn refugee. Pansy reflects on her own adventures.
8 November
Harry warns Professor Carrow to stay away from Hermione. Professor Carrow states his own view of Terry's situation. Padma wants to discuss the attacks and attacker privately with Ernie. Fred and George visit Terry in the hospital wing and blame Carrow for the incident. Lana instructs the students to keep level heads and refrain from gossip. Poppy encounters a house-elf in the middle of the ward, in the middle of the night. Dean is disturbed by the latest attack. Ginny hopes that a little holiday time at home will make things seem better.
9 November
Padma jubilates over the thought of Professor Lockhart leading a dueling club. Hermione wonders whether Harry could be the Heir, even if he's not the one opening the Chamber. Dennis decides to be a good servant to avoid becoming the next victim.
10 November
Narcissa finishes the disposition of Aunt Lucretia's estate. Hydra signs up for the Dueling Club. Lucius repudiates a discussion about supplying Muggleborn replacements for Muggles who are too ill to report for work.
11 November
Frank reports that their patient's condition has turned for the worse. Sally-Anne praises the memory of her grandfather behind the ISS lock. Lucius attends a number of meetings to address the labor shortage (and epidemic crisis).
12 November
Draco learns that he and Harry have both been temporarily benched from Quidditch following the bludger problem. Arthur discovers from his colleague some new and discouraging information about the mysterious outbreaks. Madam Pomfrey passes some details along as well.
13 November
Arthur spends his day answering complaint owls.
