Narcissa invites comments and suggestions about the new mentoring program for halfbloods. Michael decides to enter the program, despite the fact that no one realized he was not pureblooded (including him).

Tonks implements the first step toward creating a safe space for muggleborns and halfblood citizens, adjacent to Laszlo's of London. Padma conveys Michael's changed circumstances to Seamus and Lavender. Ron believes the story but raises some questions about parents' secrets.

Luna approaches Michael privately to console him. Ernie expresses the Hufflepuffs' unified support as well. Narcissa commissions young Cooper to install art among Kensington's gardens. Zacharias muses over the appeal of runespoors.

Lana Sandoval thinks her cohort's next unit of Auror training far more engaging than the physical fitness portion. Barty tracks some seditious publications. Sally-Anne reminds everyone about their offer to study together. Susan writes to her aunt, Ms. Grubbly-Plank, about Care of Magical Creatures.

Pansy grows upset over the loss of Regulus, fueled by Dementors and the ISS conversation (on Sally-Anne's journal) regarding the Lord Protector's method of forcing his followers to murder and torture on his behalf.
