Is this the first we've seen of Bill? I know he's been mentioned before but I don't recall any posts.

Um...wha? He's been posting since July of 2009, and commenting both to members of the Weasley family and Order Only to other order members. Don't see how you could have missed him. He was the one who figured out (http://alt-bill.livejournal.com/5903.html) that Sirius could recover in his Animagus form from getting hexed by Bellatrix by immersing himself in salt water, remember?

His icons have looked a little different, though. Apparently the player must have loaded up some new ones today. Here was his old default icon. Look familiar? It IS the same actor.

I did a double-take when I saw the new icons, he looks different with longer hair. Anyone know who the actor is, by the way? (Actually, I've wondered that about a couple of the characters.)

It's Domhnall Gleeson, who plays Bill in the movies (you'll be seeing a lot more of him in Deathly Hallows). In real life, he's actually the son of Brendan Gleeson, who plays Mad-Eye Moody.
