Madam Pomfrey leaves for Moddey Dhoo. Nymphadora gets a surprise treat for Mother's Day. Pansy recaps her mother's party for the Witches' Institute.
4 April
Lucius confers with his clerk. Narcissa fills in Mrs Avery on what she missed at the Campbells'. Lana Sandoval reports in code. Narcissa learns that Barty was injured in the field. Lucius makes arrangments to apologize to Narcissa. Narcissa updates Barty's mother as to his condition. Rabastan Lestrange offers his opinion about the Grim Truth's origins.
5 April
Padma invites Pansy the New London for a day's shopping. She also extends the invitation to Daphne Greengrass. Pansy asks Sally-Anne if she can come too. Lana sues with her father for permission to move out of her parents' house. Padma tries to arrange a rendezvous with Lana in London. Narcissa requests that Barty's clerk take a shift by his bedside so she can bring his personal items. Padma confirms the shopping plans with Lavender. Lana conspires with her brother, knowing her father will not agree to her earlier request. Professor Sinistra provides the Razzer with the ability to visit Barty in St. Mungo's.
6 April
Neville visits the Burrow, along with quite a few others. Percy escapes to visit Penny. Sally-Anne thanks Mrs Weasley for her hospitality. She also laughs with the ISS kids about Gemma Stretton's first manifestation of magic.
7 April
Lucius congratulates Director Selwyn on a successful arrest following review of the Private Messages. Luna reflects on her garden plot at the Burrow. Hannah Abbott acquires a new broom.
8 April
Padma describes the shopping trip. She also dishes to Seamus about Sally-Anne bringing Gemma Stretton, which complicated the trip considerably. Narcissa attempts to exact Barty's promise to take things easy for a while. Sally-Anne frets to Pansy that her nail polish might last several months.
