Padma marvels at Penelope Clearwater's use of the Cruciatus Curse. Blaise dislikes the reason she cast it. Lucius helps Narcissa cover for Barty's absence.
14 November
Percy wonders if Penny is okay after using the Curse on someone. Sirius joins the Order's northern outpost to help set up stops on the underground railroad. Daphne passes judgment on the Cruciatus incident. Ron tries to get Harry's attention.
15 November
Hermione fetches Harry's quills. Harry seeks Professor Lestrange's assistance. Ron goes through Hermione to convince Harry to listen to him. Barty tests an experimental charm. Harry capitulates to Ron's request. Barty continues his tests.
16 November
Professor McGonagall receives dragon's blood and dragon heartstrings from Charlie Weasley. Bill delivers his report on the new caretaker, Milland.
17 November
Professor Sinistra coordinates with Professor Lestrange. Remus solicits help from McGonagall and Bill to keep Hermione's mother away from Bellatrix. He also unloads onto Alice, a little. Padma reads a new gossip magazine.
18 November
Professor Sinistra confers with Poppy over the inspection schedule. Sirius gives Hermione some advice to give to Harry. Harry plans a little extra practice in the morning.
