Professor Sinistra reflects on the start of a new year. Ginny plans to consult Professor Sinistra for advice. Daphne throws herself into Prefecting duties. Harry continues the Quidditch club into the academic year. Padma welcomes the Ravenclaw first-years. Neville proposes including Evelyn on the ISS lock. Professor McGonagall shares the names of the newborns from the Hogwarts book.
2 September
Madam Pomfrey issues a number of prescriptions for students and staff alike. Ginny uses flying to gain perspective. Madam Pomfrey plays nice with Madam Umbridge. Professor Dolohov cancels the second lesson of the upcoming week. Justin wonders whether that's good or bad. Sirius goes back to the Kamathali family, along with Nymphadora, this time successfully returning with the muggleborn Puneet. Terry understands Neville's hesitation about taking Dark Arts.
3 September
Professor Slughorn breaks the news to Fred and George: Fred passed his NEWT entrance potion; George didn't. Kingsley calls for assistance when their prisoner stages an escape. Sirius invites any Order members who are available to convene at Grimmauld Place. Evelyn introduces herself to the ISS. Fred and George object to the Order having an adventure without them. Justin compares notes with fellow Hufflepuffs. Professor Sinistra writes to her MLE friend about arranging a get-together of their friends. Justin looks for Pansy and Sally-Anne's opinions of Dolohov and Dark Arts. Barty Crouch, Jr. checks on Dolohov's impressions of his first day.
4 September
Remus posts the (extensive) minutes of the Order's impromptu meeting the evening before. Madam Pomfrey catches up with Professor Sprout regarding the Stint investigation and other matters.
5 Septemeber
Professor Dolohov clarifies the term's timetable as it applies to lunchtime lessons. Harry offers a rundown of things he anticipates for the year. Madam Pomfrey provides Madam Hooch with supplies for the Quidditch pitch. Remus asks Sirius if Terry will forgive them for holding Milland captive.
6 September
Sirius reaches out to Terry. He also offers Hermione his understanding. Sally-Anne inquires which names and titles Professor Dolohov would prefer his students to use. Madam Umbridge announces a number of initiatives to expand the YPL and CCF. Justin comes on a little too strong with Harry. Barty Crouch, Jr. updates Lucius on the Stint and Fulton investigation. Sally-Anne reports back to the ISS on the results of her conversation with Professor Sinistra (mostly about Umbridge). Sirius warns people about Dolohov through a particularly creepy Grim Truth.
7 September
Professor Sinistra congratulates the first-years on surviving their first week. Madam Pomfrey admonishes them against accepting unknown remedies from their schoolmates.
