Bill invites himself over to Laszlo's Unlimited for a drink. Sally-Anne sees that Madam Umbridge is still wearing the hexed socks. Justin reports on Zach's reaction to Professor Dolohov's anger over the duelling club's antics.

Professor Sinistra returns from her Guild meeting in New London. Daphne opens the casting call for her revue. Narcissa informs Professor Dolohov that his contributions to the auction were gratefully accepted.
5 December
Professor Slughorn summons Harry and Draco to meet with him at the end of the day's lessons. Susan puts some Hufflepuffs in their places. Charlie smuggles some dragon's blood to Madam Pomfrey.
6 December
Neville offers a snapshot of his studies as the term winds to a close. Harry announces try-outs for replacement Quidditch players, since more than half his team has been benched. Sally-Anne contemplates going for a Chaser's slot.

Ron gloats with the twins over Slytherin's misfortunes. Cedric rants to two of his classmates who concealed their roles in the duelling club from him. Sirius tinkers with a project.
