Rachel checks on whether Bill has met with any repercussions from Mulciber. Barty Crouch invites Bellatrix to meet him for lunch. Bill relays Rachel's request for a meeting. Sally-Anne thinks about the implications of Auror Lamont's true affiliation.

Megan worries about what she will need for her time with the Strettons. Bill warns the Laszlo's crew that he and Rachel will be coming there for their meeting. Ernie offers to take Megan to the next meeting to read Pure Victory. Lana asks Rachel if she will be bringing a date to a party.

George thanks Ron and Pansy for helping spread the word about Weasley's Whizbangs. Bill writes a quick update while Rachel steps away. Sirius describes his conversation with Rachel. Harry discusses with Cedric his adjustment to being in the Order.

Tonks wishes Charlie a happy birthday.

Lucius sends Percy to a Christmas party. Bill apologizes to Charlie for forgetting his birthday. Susan expresses her excitement about the evening's reading party. Professor Dolohov notices that Cedric has been distracted. Charlie expects that Percy will meet his expectations and will not do anything unexpected. Barty returns from a successful errand.
