11 January
Lana Sandoval-Pennifold plans to attend an ice sculpture festival. Terry hopes to help coach some of the students through the Animagus transformation. Cedric asks Linus to borrow some notes. Susan worries about the challenges Ron, Draco, Pansy and Hydra will need to face. Lucius invites Auror Lamont to supper. Sally-Anne discusses Ron's predicament with him.
12 January
Snape objects to the imposition that hosting Terry would cause. Sally-Anne tells the Order about Ron's Auror internship assignment and the author of Pure Victory's fate. Lee informs the Order that the Aldrich radio broadcast wants to break the story about Strangeweale's device and his prisoners. Hermione blames herself for failing to execute the Wolfsbane potion on her first try. Professor Sinistra reminds her OWL and NEWT students of the protocols around extra study time. Harry writes to Sirius about his awkward responsibilities. Alice updates the Order on progress with goblins, refugees, and prisoners.
13 January
Lucius wishes all the initiates good luck. Hydra shares the first challenge with the Order. Linus announces the arrival of new books to the library. Corax Mulciber engages Professor Dolohov in conversation regarding the contest and the hopefuls. Frank prepares to move Otto Strangeweale to Saltash. Ron creates a firework-inspired post for his response to the challenge.
14 January
Sally-Anne gossips with Pansy about another slipshod sort of contribution to the contest. Evelyn admires Linus's creation. Padma badgers Blaise to make a move toward finishing his display. Daphne seems to have fallen victim to a hex. Terry bids farewell to the ISS lock. Blaise waits impatiently for delivery of his display item. Zacharias finds that a suit of armor he had been working on has gone missing. Justin compliments Hydra on her constellation in the Great Hall.
15 January
Hermione wishes Terry a happy birthday. Justin objects to Dean's appropriation of the castle cats for his use. Megan threatens Dean against repeating his action. Harry looks for advice from Hermione and Draco on how to rank the candidates. Linus announces the arrival of the new library books. Luna considers the alteration possibilities of Padma's illusion in the entrance hall. Seamus appreciates Padma's effort. Evelyn expresses her gratitude to her boyfriend.
16 January
Sally-Anne discloses to Jeremy that Philip Stretton was hexed by Crabbe and Goyle. Percy dismisses Professor Sinistra's input on the challenges. Tonks recovers an item left behind by a customer.
17 January
Harry warns the Galleoneers to look out for students during the next initiation test. Pansy queries of Harry where he plans to spend the afternoon. Corax Mulciber berates Barty Crouch for MLE's lack of progress on investigating the disappearance of Mysteries employees. Seamus issues an open challenge to fulfill his hex quota. Barty Crouch mocks Mulciber's accusations with Bellatrix and Dolohov. Mulciber remains unimpressed by Barty's explanations.
