Ugh, Demelza. She sounds like a real sweetheart! ;)

And Blaise's letter to his mother makes me feel kind of sorry for him. Even if he was the cause of her twenty-fifth husband's death, he could be forgiven for thinking she wouldn't be THAT upset about it, since she hadn't been before.

I'm hoping somewhere along the line we'll learn what spooked Mrs Birdwhistle, since rescuing her seems to have gone off smoothly.

I hope so too, and I think she might also be able to shed some light on the Black Wands too, which would be quite helpful, as the lack of muggleborns born outside of Bedford and Aldrich is worrying.

My personal feeling is that Mrs. Birdwhistle is Maggie Thatcher, but what do you guys think?
