I'm suddenly wondering if Barty's new duties have anything to do with Bella's comment to Hydra. Could Barty be replacing Raz as Harry's guard? I don't think Barty's fond of Hogwarts, but if they're worried about Harry's safety even at Hogwarts, and worried if Harry could be complicit with Draco, Barty'd be a good choice.

I hope you're right and I'm not, because to me that comment sounded ominous as all get out, and I started imagining MLE swooping down on Harry in a surprise attack.

As to that, though, I wonder why they don't just legilimise Harry, if they think he knows things about Draco and Hermione?

I've been worrying about Harry too. I can't imagine them just leaving him if they suspect him. Although is Hydra able to see him because Bella trusts her or just because she would normally have access to him at Buckingham.
Although Voldie thinks his well being relies on Harry being alive, doesn't he? Maybe they wouldn't try a direct approach for fear he might be injured.

Of course we are probably worrying for nothing and they are just protecting him. Maybe they feel he was at risk of attack when Hermione was about, and it's a case of closing the door after the horse has bolted.

Honestly, I think as long as Voldie thinks his own well-being relies on Harry's continued existence, no one's going to do anything that might risk Harry coming to harm. That's why Draco was punished for Harry before, and why it doesn't matter if everyone suspects Harry was also teaching Hermione: only Draco would have been punished whether or not Harry was complicit.

That doesn't mean Barty can't be assigned to escort him from class to class, but if that's the case, why would the order have come from Bella? Hmmm.

That's true, about Tom thinking Harry is necessary for his survival. May he continue to think that!

Maybe Barty's new assignment came directly from Voldemort through Bella, since we know she spoke to Voldie about Lucius.

Another possibility to explain Hydra being the only one allowed to see Harry is that maybe they think he'll let her legilimise him sooner than Auntie Bella.

Allow me to express my great relief that Hydra is part of the resistance, and not the other way around.
