Actually, Seamus might just make Head Boy, but honestly, I think Padma's dreaming if she thinks Tosha is going to choose her, after her involvement in and subsequent indifference to Dean's death.

I think Daphne would be a much more likely candidate than Patil.

Or Pansy. Ooh, that would definitely burn Patil! *rubs hands together gleefully*

I think Seamus is more likely than Justin, but I think Seamus might spontaneously combust if it were Justin. Haha.

Padma's really unlikely, though, I agree. I think Megan Jones is more likely than Padma, after what happened with Dean! Sally-Anne would be interesting, but I'm not sure how likely I think that is. Daphne's probably it, you're right.

Don't HB & HG need to be Prefects? And within alt_cannon there's almost always a Slytherin.

So for girls we have Daphne, Padma, Susan, and Lavender. Susan is unlikely and Lavender laughable. I think Daphne has the edge b/c of Dean & b/c of the Slytherin bias (since Draco was the boy prefect). I agree it will be hilarious if Padma gets passed over.

For boys there's Linus, Seamus, and...whoever the Hufflepuff prefect is. Unfortunately, I think it will probably be Seamus. However, Moon is one of Dolohov's projects, so that's not outside the realm of possibility.

Or they could flout all precedent and give it to Harry, in which case Padma is probably Head Girl.

No, Linus is a prefect (possibly 'also' a prefect): see, for example, his entry where he says "Speaking as a Prefect..."

Ernie and Linus are both Prefects, from different Houses. Linus is Ravenclaw.

Wonder if they'll get snide that Hydra chose not to attend. I'm inordinately pleased that she didn't even deign to reply. It says so very much with so very few words.

She really is too good for them. Wonder if they'll see it that way.
