Sally-Anne admits to Mrs. Stretton that she has no explanation for what happened. Linus uses poetry quotation to bolster the students' spirits. Justin joins Cedric in answering Dolohov's mail. A Galleoneer finds a slur against Gryffindor on the walls. Headmaster Dolohov defends Voldemort's actions as protection from traitors. Someone objects to branding Hooch a traitor. Someone else agrees. Another observes that her death was not a distribution of justice. Yet another compares her death to Sophie Fleet's. Another reminds everyone of Hannah Abbot's murder as well. Harry chooses a literal interpretation of Dolohov's refusal to re-Sort students. Madam Pomfrey looks in on Professor Sinistra. Seamus informs the Headmaster that Harry moved into Gryffindor. Blaise tattles to Professor Desai. Professor Desai drops the matter on the Headmaster.

Draco asks Harry how it's going. Harry reports on his meeting with Dolohov. Justin provides the names of four new muggleborn infants in the camps. Padma complains about Harry's change of House.

Remus inquires about the arrests and the outcomes.

Justin wishes Ernie a happy birthday. Hermione meets two of the Laszlo's regulars who escaped to Sherwood. Professor Desai redirects traffic away from some embarrassing graffiti.
6 November
Barty touches base with Dolohov. Seamus discusses strategy with Padma. Hydra chases the two of them away from persecuting Slytherins. She also warns the Order Juniors about what might be coming. Sally-Anne alerts Madam Pomfrey to impending Cruciations. Headmaster Dolohov summons a number of students to answer for the graffiti. Pansy reacts in the aftermath. Neville lets his parents know that he's all right. Padma apologizes to Blaise and Lavender. A Galleoneer urges the victims to stay strong. Evelyn questions whether a potion sent by Dolohov would be safe to take. Someone recommends after care for the victims. Another insists on defiance. Ernie comforts Megan.
