Argh, Padma!

Padma really doesn't get it, does she? Her fellow Ravenclaws are crying over what the radio's reporting, and she's all "Huh, this is it? What's so bad about doing this? I could do this all day!" :|

Well, according to S-A by the end she was singing a different tune, at least to herself.

It's heartening that helping murder an entire village was still beyond the pale for her, yes. (Which is an awful thing to say. This game makes me write really awful sentences and I'm not even a player, haha.)

I at least occasionally get the impression that Padma talks a good line partly to convince herself.

(And then other times I get the impression that she genuinely is that horrible.)

I tend to think she's trying to, as it were, fake it until she makes it, but while that makes her less of a horrible person, it also means she aspires to horribleness, and.... blech.

You know, I really want someone to feed her the information that her baby brother's horrible death probably had something to do with Her Precious Lord's experiments at Eton, now that Rookwood has reminded me that Her Precious Lord was experimenting at Eton...

That would be nice.

And now we may get to see her start hallucinating. That should be a fine mess, particularly since she's handing out cruciate curses when she's feeling bad about herself.

Yeah, if even Sally-Anne, who knew to be cautious about it, had taken it too long already, and Padma was just warned not to take it "too often"... this could get a little too exciting.
