OH GOD. Watching the comment count carefully and prioritizing the last few comments for which threads really needed the space and which could be allowed to fade was the worst part of playing. :P

I think watching the FEN community adopt our careful practice and cut off their own posts at 49 comments was one of the most FASCINATING social effects of this enterprise.

A lot of the fen - player - player - fen interaction was truly, truly interesting to watch and be part of. You folks honestly did shape our story now and then, though we tried hard not to let you influence us away from major decisions when we were committed to them.

But you influenced nuance. We looked to y'all for times when we needed to clarify our plotlines, off-screen actions, and yes, probably most of all character motivations and justifications...

but yeah. The first time I noticed that you were not collapsing threads I laughed out loud.

I was actually going to point out at some point that we *don't need to worry about that anymore*!
