28 February
Madam Pomfrey's inventory for February was a breeze compared to January. Lavender rebuffs Megan in no uncertain terms. Seamus offers more flying lessons. Susan justifies her heritage.

1 March
Professor Sinistra continues to visit Madam Pomfrey. Fred and George wish Ron a happy birthday, in their own special way. Lucius apparently had a good birthday, too. Hannah addresses her dormmates' positive qualities. Professor McGonagall promises Arthur she and Poppy will take precautions.

2 March
Harry lies about not using Hermione to do his homework. Padma likes Potions again, now that she and Zacharias are partners. Professor Slughorn has taken some preventive measures to keep the peace in Slytherin House. Sirius reports that Laszlo Ltd is prospering. Neville wonders why Professor Carrow left class so suddenly. Percy reminds the students that professors' private living quarters are strictly off-limits. Professor Carrow delights in the prospect of punishing the interlopers. Professor McGonagall tries to warn the students against attempting any stunts like the Weasley twins'.

3 March
Professor McGonagall announces the decisions regarding the Gryffindor detentions.

4 March
Kingsley found the other escapees. Hannah encounters Moaning Myrtle face to (transparent) face. Fred and George air an opinion. Hermione attests that her new duties are not so bad.

5 March
Arthur tentatively congratulates Kingsley's transfiguration scheme, which seems to have fooled the Ministry. Professor Carrow thinks his project is ready.

6 March
Madam Pomfrey informs the Order that Terry Boot is back, although considerably traumatized.

Is Bellatrix pregnant?

http://alt-bellatrix.livejournal.com/2780.html
"Though in my case it is high time that I remove myself from active engagements. I can't say I'm entirely happy about it, but His decision is, of course, for the best. I certainly don't want what happened to Yaxley and Marks to happen to me - not now."

And the earlier comments from Lucius about her well-being.
http://alt-lucius.livejournal.com/11700.html
"Bella, kindly help me assure your sister that you are taking care of yourself quite adequately under the circumstances. She seems to be certain otherwise since your penultimate entry - and the last did nothing to assuage her. Something about being outside too much in the cold and ... what was it? Ah - accepting tea from strangers. (Gentlemen, whenever addressing one's spouse, remember that as a male of the species, you are allowed no opinion on issues of female health, not even to point out that as mistress of her own form a level-headed witch can surely be trusted not to jeopardise herself.)"

Any takers?

I think there was stuff back around Christmas where Narcissa was said to be concerned about Bellatrix's 'delicate condition.' -- Bella disparaged that characterization of her state, btw, so I've been suspending judgment. I agree, though, that this last aside of hers makes it sound more than ever as if she's expecting. (Whose is it, do you suppose? She makes it sound as though the LP has taken especial notice of her situation, but ... I frankly don't think the LP has it in him. Of course, I've got precious little to base that on, aside from the fact that it appears that Bella's obsessive devotion to him is a one-way street. I suppose, however, that if you are the LP you needn't remember someone's birthday in order to knock her up.)

Now here is something I will very rarely say, Percy Weasley is awesome. This response (http://alt-lavender.livejournal.com/2235.html?thread=35515#t35515) in Lavender's post made me cheer.

Also on the subject of the Weasley twins, this (http://alt-gredforge.livejournal.com/3580.html) would seem to definitely indicate they are now, or were recently, in possession of the Marauders' Map. Is there any reason that Molly stating those words and using her wand on the blank paper they sent her would not work or can we assume that is a different important blank piece of paper and they are still in possession of the Map?
