hpalternity.com having an occasional lie-down

I keep getting messages from the hosting company that the machine hpalternity.com is on keeps becoming unresponsive and needs to be rebooted. (I will guess somebody else on the same virtual server has a runaway script that's locking all the CPU, or else the physical hardware is having problems or something.)

I'm pretty sure I have the whole thing backed up (although I'll take a fresh backup the next time the server comes up while I'm around/awake/free, just to be certain), and the hosting company is pretty on top of noticing & fixing it when there's a problem. Still, if you can't connect to the site, that's why!

EDIT: Yeah, the site's allegedly back up, but I can't connect to it via SSH and the web server isn't responding. I've opened a ticket with the host, but I gotta go pass out now, so it won't get fixed until tomorrow if they need me to do anything.

Ack, sorry! The machine's hosed and I have to do a bunch of magic to get it working again, and I haven't had the time. I'll post another quick update.

Curious to know if there has been any movement on this? I wanted to recommend the game to someone to read, but the site is still down. I know you're busy as heck, but any ETA on when things might be back up?

Sorry, everything in my life got completely derailed when yet another fucked up genetic disorder (this one's eating my hands, whee!) started manifesting, lucky me. I haven't been able to touch a keyboard for more than 10m running in like a month. Radiation therapy starts next week and hopefully I will have some improvement after that...

Linny's post made me go looking... did the hpalternity site fall doen go boom again? Or was it too much trouble to keep? I didn't d/l all the pdfs, so I will be sad if they are no longer accessible.

Yes, I was aware of the later post, just not that the issue was still ongoing (since the post was from a while back). But yay, now I know what y'all meant by wayback machine. and now I have downloads on my external drive.
