Historically speaking, diptheria was one of the first of deadly childhood diseases to be conquered - it uses a serum and the body's own immune system. It's frightening that it's back in force among the British Muggles.
Also. Terry's sealed comment is amazing. It's not just the style, although the perfect grammar and spelling is beautiful in its own way. It's that this boy who has been beaten and broken and starved his entire life can show such empathy for "his" patients and also such presence of mind around the DeathEaters. Heartbreaking and heartening at the same time. Well-done.
